Dear Parents,
The planning for the 2010-2011 school year is underway.
Learning Lane Preschool is a church sponsored, non-profit, parent cooperative preschool established in 2004. Its success depends on true cooperation among you and the other participating parents. We have one paid staff person. Class sizes will be a maximum of ten children per class. We feel that this will allow for maximum time and attention focused on your child. As always, we will need your help and cooperation as a parent helper.
We will be holding a “Back to School” Night/Orientation August 26th @ 6:30p at The Hallsville United Methodist Church. Please plan to attend with your child. We have some activities planned for your child while the Board meets with parents regarding enrollment, etc. To help expedited the enrollment process, please plan to bring the following documents:
1. Financial Agreement
2. Child Medical Examination Reports (physical and immunizations) – if possible, bring with you in August to the “Back to School” night. If not, this form is needed by the first day of school. The immunizations must include the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine. Make sure the varicella (chicken pox) vaccine is noted on the medical exam report. Returning children from previous year will need an up-dated immunization form only.
3. Parent/Care Giver Med. Examination Report- Missouri Licensing Regulations for non-profit childcare centers require all childcare workers, helpers, and volunteers to have Physical and TB Test on file in order to assist in childcare facility. The state physical form is a few questions with TB information on the form. Parents must use this form. You can go to Department of Health for the TB test. A donation will be required. Any questions please feel free to call. We must have this on file before you can parent help.
It is important that we have all of our parents present at the Back-to-School meeting. If you are unable to attend, or have any questions or concerns, please contact the preschool at 573-696-1043 or Hallsville United Methodist Church at 573-696-2578. We truly look forward to seeing you in August! We are excited about the upcoming school year and feel confident that it will be a great experience for both you and your child.
